Layaway Payment Terms and Conditions

At HZ Burma-Gems, we offer flexible payment options to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Layaway plans are available for customers in the United States. Following an initial deposit, customers may make monthly payments towards their purchase. Sales tax on orders will be calculated based on the applicable rate at the time of shipment. All sales made under the layaway program are NCNR (Non-refundable and non-returnable).

Items will be held for a maximum period of six months from the date of sale.

Should the merchandise become unavailable in the same condition prior to the conclusion of the layaway period, HZ Burma-Gems will refund all deposits or payments made under the layaway agreement.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

1. - The initial deposit required for layaway purchases is twenty percent of the total purchase price.
2. - Monthly payments shall be submitted on the 1st or 15th of each month, as mutually agreed with a sales representative. The minimum monthly payment is either five percent of the total order value or one hundred dollars, whichever is lower. Customers may make additional or larger payments at any time.
3. - Full payment of the order must be received within six months from the original purchase date. If the order remains unpaid after this period, HZ Burma-Gems reserves the right to release the merchandise from the layaway hold.
4. - The deposit may be refunded or credited toward an exchange within fourteen days of purchase, excluding custom-designed, engraved, modified merchandise, or special orders, which are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
5. - Layaway payments are non-refundable after fourteen days from the date of initial purchase. If a customer wishes to cancel the layaway prior to shipment and after this period, a restocking fee of twenty percent of the full purchase price will be deducted from the amount paid, with the remaining balance issued as store credit.
6. - Except for custom-designed, engraved, modified, or special orders, layaway ring purchases may be resized within six months of shipment from HZ Burma-Gems, but only within manufacturer tolerances.
7. - Orders will be shipped within one week once the balance has been paid in full.
